This spring bride styled shoot came together in just a week because we had a vision of bride and simple dinner table with lavender, blush and ivory tones. We envisioned a romantic dinner for two set up beside the water at sunset. Unfortunately it was a gloomier day than we hoped, but we embraced the last traces of winter making way for spring. We loved the simple lace gown, and played up everything else!
There was a special focus on the stunning rose gold bridal jewellery, which lends itself to elegant and simple luxury. This ‘just the bride’ shoot was a great way for vendors to collaborate and create a fresh inspiration board for brides to be. We used a ‘real life’ model, because we wanted an organic approach to this styled shoot.
Every vendor included was a women-owned and operated business – something we are pretty proud of! The bouquet has pops of blush and blue in a wild and whimsical arrangement by the florist that simply took our breath away. Our model, Soulayama was rocking pink-peach hair styled in a soft and messy yet elegant up do to complement the statement hairpiece.
The location we chose is an old mill in a little town called Manotick which is just 10 minutes out of Ottawa, ON, Canada. We added a fun and original element to this shoot by bringing in a luxury photo booth for some bridal portraits where we featured a luxe gold and white backdrop and custom props.
The hand torn, painted and lettered menu and placecards pulled in the romantic touch we were looking for. Overall this shoot was a gorgeous blend of romance, whimsy and luxurious elegance. We hope you love it as much as we do!
