Wedding shows are the perfect place to go and meet many vendors in one place and one weekend. When you start planning your wedding it can be really overwhelming with the amount of vendors per category. Depending on the style you are going for, different shows offer different vendor selections.
Usually the smaller scale shows are highly curated, and the larger expos will feature all kinds of vendors and no cap on vendors per category. I have also found that many venues offer open house shows where you can experience their services on a small scale and also meet their preferred vendors – this is perfect if you are set on a single venue or even if you’ve already booked there!
The show season starts this month, and it’s never too early to get planning. Remember that certain vendors book out up to 18 months in advance (like venues & photographers/videographers!) so don’t wait until it’s too late.
