I don’t know where to begin with this ottawa maternity session, and in fact this moment. Hanan is a dear friend, we’ve known each other since we were 10 years old, and been through it all. This is one of those moments that we talked about as kids – how someday we would have our own kids and they would also be friends and we’d be parent buddies and all that. I was over the moon excited to know she was expecting! Of course, we got to planning the maternity photos right away and it turned into a two-part day starting with a beautiful at home, milk bath and then a couples maternity session at the gorgeous Aquatopia greenhouse. Over all it was about 6 hours for the two part day, which is much longer than a typical session – but this was not a typical one. We put together a package after discussing all her needs, because this pregnancy was one she wanted to commemorate.
It got me thinking, should I offer this as a full package for moms-to-be?! Let me know if this is a service you’d like to have (milk bath+florals+couples maternity+newborn).
I even hosted a baby shower that was supposed to be a small thing, but I just can’t do small – so it turned into a full out styled shower.
