I think if you’ve been following my evolution as a photographer, you probably also picked up that I am a coffee l.o.v.e.r. My husband and I seek out the best coffee that cities have to offer whenever we travel, but this one was right under our noses! Cafe’s are places I seriously enjoy spending time in. Just sitting in a cafe, sipping delicious coffee – chatting with a friend or enjoying a moment alone. They’re social hubs, which is probably the biggest reason I am attracted to them. In another world I’d open up my own coffee house, but for now I will settle for finding every single cute spot on the maps of where I am living. I am a little sad that I didn’t discover this place before I moved out of Toronto, but I suppose it is for the best because I would have lived there and had a diet of espresso and lobster tails. Not only do they serve freshly baked desserts and delicate pastries, but they also have a full savory food bar. And let’s not forget about the coffee. I mean I go to places based on coffee menus alone and Lamanna’s does not disappoint on that front. I discovered in my search for the best chocolate chip cookie, that this cookie, in fact exists – and it’s here! It’s definitely a cool space – I wonder if they host weddings? 😉 That would be one I’d definitely want to shoot!
