A French-Chic Hideaway for the Modern Romantic: Inside Le Peaches & Cream

Wedding

There are places that whisper romance. And then, there are places like Le Peaches & Cream—where every corner seems to sing it.

Tucked just an hour north of Ottawa, this private estate in Low, Quebec unfolds gently—meadow by meadow, room by room with the quiet confidence of a French film: intimate, stylish, and entirely self-possessed.

Once a family farm, now a modern-day sanctuary for weddings that favour intention over excess, Le Peaches & Cream feels like a secret kept among the aesthetically fluent. The kind of place where you could imagine Sofia Coppola getting married barefoot under strings of vintage bulbs, a glass of pét-nat in hand.

But this isn’t fantasy. It’s just good design and even better taste.

The Space

At the heart of the property is the Pavilion, a minimalist architectural gem that manages to feel both elevated and unpretentious. Crisp white walls, and massive windows let the light flood in—ideal for dinner at golden hour or late-night dancing under a canopy of stars. It’s a venue that doesn’t compete with your vision; it enhances it.

Step outside, and you’re greeted by rolling fields and curated wildness. My favourite spot on the property is the garden—anchored by crushed white stone, elegant patio seating, and beautifully landscaped greenery that feels both intentional and a little wild. It’s the kind of space that instantly transports you to Provence.

Couples exchange vows in the open air, the ceremony site surrounded by nature, and wide open spaces.

Then there’s the Villa: a sleek, considered space that sleeps 21 of your favourite people. Think four king bedrooms and cozy bunks, tucked behind glass doors and wood panelling. It’s a weekend-long celebration waiting to happen. Getting ready feels cinematic. Waking up with coffee on the porch feels like you’re somewhere in Provence.

Who It’s For

Le Peaches & Cream isn’t a one-size-fits-all kind of place because it doesn’t have to be. It’s a canvas. A blank page. And for couples with a strong sense of vision (whether that leans minimalist or maximalist), that’s exactly the draw.

I’ve seen pastel-drenched ceremonies where nature takes center stage, and I’ve seen unapologetically grand celebrations with espresso martini towers, crystal chandeliers, and custom-built clear-top tents. Here, there’s room for soft-spoken romance and bold declarations alike.

This venue speaks to couples who value experience as much as aesthetics, whether you’re planning a stylish micro-wedding, a destination-style weekend with friends and family, or a full-scale event worthy of editorial pages.

Le Peaches & Cream doesn’t impose itself. It elevates whatever you bring to it.

The People Behind the Place

What makes Le Peaches & Cream feel so effortlessly special isn’t just the location, the architecture, or the light (though all of that helps). It’s the people behind it. The owners and venue team bring a rare mix of artistic vision and logistical brilliance, an alchemy that’s hard to come by in the wedding world.

Every detail, from the flow of the day to the way the space is maintained, is handled with care. There’s a behind-the-scenes presence that allows couples and vendors alike to feel supported, heard, and genuinely taken care of.

They don’t just host events, they help bring your vision to life with grace, good energy, and the kind of intuitive calm that only comes from doing something with both heart and intention.

A Wedding Destination, Not Just a Venue

Whether you’re inviting 30 guests or 130, planning an intimate affair or an immersive weekend celebration, Le Peaches & Cream offers more than a location. It is a mood. A sense of place that lingers long after the champagne has been poured and the last candle has burned out.

Why You’ll Want a Planner Here

Le Peaches & Cream is a beautifully blank canvas, offering endless possibilities—from intimate gatherings to lavish celebrations. That freedom is exactly what makes it so compelling, but it also means orchestrating details like furniture rentals, tenting, and timeline flow can quickly become complex. This is where a skilled planner becomes essential.

Amelia Carleton is an award-winning Ottawa-based planner known for her bespoke, high-end events. Since launching in 2020, she’s brought a signature blend of romance and refinement to every celebration—always with a deep understanding of her clients’ vision and a calm, confident presence throughout the process.

Brittany Bested of Wild Bloem is equally exceptional. With a gift for creative direction and soulful storytelling, she offers a full-service planning and floral experience that feels both elevated and heartfelt. Her work is artful, modern, and full of thoughtful details.

I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside both Amelia and Brittany, and I can confidently say—they’re not just incredibly talented at what they do, they’re also grounded, collaborative professionals who make the wedding day feel seamless for everyone involved.

Planning your wedding in Ottawa or Quebec? If you’re craving something more curated than conventional—something quietly luxe, naturally styled, and rich in feeling—book a tour of Le Peaches & Cream. And when the time comes to choose a photographer who sees the beauty in the details and the in-between moments, I’d love to be part of it.
