Emma Haidar is a destination wedding photographer working across Canada, the U.S., and Europe.
I pay as much attention to your grandmother at the reception as I do to your portraits. Inheritance lives in the faces of the people who showed up for you.
In my fourteen year long career I have photographed over 350 weddings, and I still tear up at ceremonies. I shoot on 35mm film alongside digital because I want your images to have a quality that holds. Something that feels like it belongs in a frame rather than on a screen.
I know when to direct and when to disappear and in my experience, the photographs that end up mattering most are usually the ones nobody posed for.
Based in Canada. Traveling to Toronto, Montreal, New York, Paris, Provence, and everywhere a good wedding takes me.

THE ARTIST
I’m Emma - an artist with a deep love for travel, design, and the stories that connect us. Photography came naturally to me, inspired by my dad who spent years documenting his travels through Europe and the Middle East. He taught me that photographs are living pieces of connection that outlast us.
My work is shaped by everything I’ve always been drawn to: the elegance of fashion, the layers of history across the Mediterranean, and the quiet emotion of family moments.
It’s more about preserving what’s real — the fleeting gestures, the energy of a room, the feeling you’ll want to remember decades from now.
Based in Ontario and photographing weddings across Canada, the East Coast, and Europe, I approach each celebration with the reverence and energy it deserves.
