During a mini staycation in Victoria BC, Richard orchestrated a surprise photo session at the breathtaking Hatley Castle. With the stunning castle as the backdrop, Richard got down on one knee and expressed his love for Miranda, promising that no matter where they were in the world, she would always be his home.

From the moment they began planning, Richard and Miranda envisioned a wedding that was both sophisticated and enchanting. With the help of Amanda from Sea and Silk, they brought their vision to life with lavish florals, personalized stationery designed by the bride herself, and charming details that evoked a fairy tale-like ambiance. They wanted it to be a personal feel with a fairytale garden like vibe.

Miranda's personal touch was evident in every aspect of the day, from the intricately designed wedding invitations to the handcrafted ring dish for the flatlays. She hand tore every single table menu, and they gifted their guests chopsticks engraved with their wedding date.

The floral installations were so lush and beautiful, from the ceremony arbour (overlooking a valley in their cliffside venue), to the aisle arrangements. Personal touches, such as oranges symbolizing luck and prosperity, added depth and meaning to the decor.

As a nod to their shared cultural heritage, Richard and Miranda incorporated the tradition of the red string of fate into their ceremony. Symbolizing their destined connection and unwavering commitment to one another.

The couple's dedication to dance was showcased during their coordinated and professional wedding waltz. After months of weekly dance lessons, Richard and Miranda glided effortlessly across the dance floor, leaving their guests in awe of their skill and grace. The final product was a 3-minute choreographed combo American smooth waltz and viennese Waltz.
